Mary is very excited about her new book. Her goal was to present a way of painting that is simple to understand in order for the novice painter to immediately be able to paint the flower they desire and she has accomplished this through 12 full-length demonstrations. Techniques for capturing that perfect flower are explained using multiple mini-demonstrations. Readers will also capture riveting color with Mary’s unique acrylic finishing technique.

Watercolor in Bloom provides something for everyone in a painting style that North Light Books hasn’t published before.

After spending a year creating the book, Mary has been relaxing and playing a little golf, now that she is rested it is back to the studio and painting a backlog of commissioned work.
